FOM ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Direct answers about how FOM organizes facility work, access and multi-location teams.

What is FOM?

FOM is facility operations management software. It connects service requests, work orders, scheduling, communications, photos, time records, service reports and invoices in one operational portal.

Who is FOM for?

FOM is designed for facility and operations managers, local managers, customers and requesters, technicians, contractors and vendors. Each role receives a focused view of the work and records it needs.

How does a work order move through FOM?

A request becomes a work order that can be assigned and scheduled. Technicians add time, notes and photos, while managers and customers follow status through completion and the final service report.

Does FOM support multiple locations?

Yes. General managers can coordinate the organization across locations, while local managers can be limited to their assigned locations. Work orders, tickets and invoices remain connected to the relevant customer and location.

How does passwordless sign-in work?

An invited user can request a one-time code by email or SMS. Email codes use eight digits and SMS codes use six; both expire after 10 minutes, work once and open FOM in the same browser tab.

Can FOM be used on phones and tablets?

Yes. FOM is a responsive web application for modern phone, tablet and desktop browsers. Technicians can open jobs, review directions and record time, notes and photos from the field.

Does FOM support English and Spanish?

Yes. The public site and the FOM portal support English and Spanish, and users can switch language from the interface.

Where can I see current plans and trial terms?

The public pricing page shows current plans, per-seat prices and trial terms. Review those terms before starting your trial.
